HOUSE GROUPS
House Groups are integral to Methodism. John Wesley, the first Methodist, encouraged different kinds of small groups to develop so that both the leaders and members of the house groups could receive support and challenge in their faith. These small groups are highly supportive and allow faith and our relationship with God to questioned and nourished.
DRIVERS HOUSE GROUP (UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AND YOUNG ADULTS)
We meet 7:30pm- 9pm every Wednesday over Zoom. We always start with a quick natter before getting into topics such as 'what is the Bible' and 'sexuality and God'.
As a group, we highly values our inter-member trust and support. If you have just moved to Liverpool and fancy getting to know some 18-35 year olds, get in touch!
WEDNESDAY HOUSE GROUP
This house group meets most Wednesday in term time at the home of Kim and Alan Kershaw.
The material for the sessions comes from a variety of courses, often linking with the themes of the Sunday morning worships too.
They have also explored mindfulness techniques to help find quiet in our busy lives.
This house group is always open to new members so get in touch with Kim or Alan if you would like to join church in an informal and relaxed setting!
These three remain:
Faith, hope and love.
