ELM HALL DRIVE METHODIST CHURCH
PASTORAL CARE
CARE GROUPS
Care groups are a method of maintaining contact and pastoral support for all members of our church community. Care group leaders act as a shoulder to lean on through visits, phone calls, shopping for each other, etc. as well as ensuring that our minister is informed of any pastoral needs.
At EHD, we recognise Jesus' action in actively caring for the community and we hope to replicate this through our acts of care and practice of His teachings.
Some care groups meet socially on a regular basis.

WEDDINGS, FUNERALS & BAPTISMS
Our minister would be pleased to speak to you if you would like to get married or hold the funeral of a loved one in our church. It is always a joy when parents bring a child for baptism, but we welcome enquiries from believing adults too.
Please get in touch and we will pass your enquiry on to our minister.
TIME TO REMEMBER
Every year, around November or early December, we hold a "Time to Remember" service. We invite the families of people whose funerals have taken place during the year, but it is open to anyone in the church and community who would like to come and remember family members and friends who have died. Alongside music, readings and prayers, there is the opportunity to light a candle.
